Robert McClanahan


Robert McCanahan is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified Mine Safety Professional (CMSP) with experience spanning coal mining, cement plants, quarries/aggregates, concrete plants, and cement terminals.

As a seasoned safety professional with over 33 years of measurable achievement in health/safety leadership, his experience includes safety program development, safety inspections, auditing and OSHA/MSHA/DOT training & compliance.

Robert has spent the larger part of his career working as a Regional Health and Safety Director for some of the largest mining organizations in the country.

Robert earned his Master of Science Degree in Industrial Safety Studies at the

West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia and his Bachelor of Science

Degree in Occupational Health and Safety at Management and Indiana State University

In Terre Haute, Indiana.

Lt. Emanuel Washington



Lt. Emanuel Washington comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience in Hazardous Materials. Emanuel has recently been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. His main role is training other fire fighters in HazWoper, Emergency Response, Confined Space Rescue and Trenching and Shoring Rescue. In addition to his many duties, he also serves on the HazMat Team for the city of Orlando, the Central Florida Urban Search and Rescue Task Force, is an adjunct instructor for the National Fire Academy and the Central Florida Fire Institute teaching Fire Fighters and first responders how to respond to a hazardous material emergency. 

We are very proud and fortunate to have Lt. Washington on our team!

Jeffrey Raymer



Jeffrey (Jeff) Raymer, is a Certified Safety Manager with 30+ years of Health and Safety experience including but not limited to Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, and multiple leadership positions in Manufacturing, Safety Analysis, and Worker Safety Engagement processes. He is the current President of the Jacksonville Safety Alliance and appointed as the first Chief Operating Officer of the Safety Alliance organization. Jeff started his career in Health and Safety as an International Representative for the United Auto Workers where he spent 15 years at the GM facility in Spring Hill Tennessee. 

Jeffrey spent several years in Manufacturing as a Supervisor, Operations Manager, Business Manager, and Site Leader.

 Jeffrey was instrumental in the creation, development, and implementation of many safety training programs. Fork Truck, Change Management, HazCom, and several other regulatory or company specific training programs.

Jeffrey currently works with a nationwide General Contractor as a Corporate Safety Specialist.

With extensive consulting and training experience in the Construction and General Industry fields, Jeff is recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in Fall Protection, Confined Space, Lockout/Tag-out, and many other OSHA required programs by many companies throughout the US.  

 Jeffrey was instrumental in the creation, development, and implementation of many safety training programs. Fork Truck, Change Management, HazCom, and several other regulatory or company specific training programs.

Jeffrey currently works with a nationwide General Contractor as a Corporate Safety Specialist.

Joan Reidenbaugh


With over Twenty (20) years experience in the food service industry, Joan has served in many roles, ranging from restaurant general manager in charge of one unit, to District Manager in charge of ten (10) units to later, overseeing thirty (70) Multinational Units throughout the country. All of this has been a pre-curser to her current Role as Food safety Auditor and consultant Globally.

Joan’s skills include: 

· Develop and oversea compliance of all the food safety regulations, policies, and procedures. 

· Develops, implement and maintain security and food safety standards.

· Training, and providing guidance in maintaining food safety and quality requirements in the hospitality industry. 

· Training and implementing food safety standards in the food manufacturing industry

· SQF Auditing and implementation

· ISO 9001 Auditing and implementation

· ISO 22000 Auditing and Implementation

· Internal Audits

David Tilki



David Tilki has more than 33 years of professional construction safety management experience. His career history includes working with the U.S. Navy Seabees as a heavy equipment operator. He then moved on to work with Jacobs Engineering on their turnpike team supporting engineering design and workzone safety on various projects throughout Florida.

Mr. Tilki has received numerous awards during his tenure with Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise including the Jacob’s Engineering Leadership Award in 2001, the Teamwork Award in 2004, and the Significant Contribution Award in 2010. 

David has taught safety training classes for various organizations including Pinellas County School System, Associated General Contractors (AGC), and the National Association for Women in Construction (NAWIC).

Holding a Florida DOT Advanced Temporary Traffic certification, Mr. Tilki stays busy teaching TTC classes throughout Florida.

We are very pleased that someone of David’s caliber has agreed to join our elite team of safety instructors!

Bradley Sonsnowski


Bradley Sosnowsky has over 30 years’ experience in Law Enforcement. He is a certified Firearms instructor and former DEA Agent. He knows that the difference in being a victim of a crime, or not, is usually based upon how well you have been trained.

As a Certified Defensive Tactics Instructor, Bradley can teach your employees basic techniques that will enable them to prevent personal harm to themselves and others

Mr. Sosnowsky has been employed by the US Department of Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) providing “Firearms Training” and “Advanced Defensive Tactics” to their agents. 

He has worked 30 to 45 day rotations in Afghanistan, providing weapons training to special agents for the US Army. 

Spending 3 years as a Uniformed Division Officer for the US Secret Service Agency, providing security to the President and his family at the White House.

He currently provides Active Shooter and Weapons training to Law Enforcement Personnel and civilians throughout the US. His teaching method is unique as he teaches not only to run, hide and fight but to barricade and disable the shooter if possible.

Mr. Sosnowsky graduated from Boston University with a BA in Political Science and Philosophy and is certified by the NRA Law Enforcement Division.

Clarence Willard



Clarence Willard Jr. is a seasoned safety professional with over 30 years’ experience in varied segments of industry.

He currently provides a wide variety of safety training and consulting including Powered Industrial Truck Operator Safety, Aerial Working Platform Safety, Confined Space Entry and Rescue, and HazWoper to business and Government including the U.S. Navy.

His history includes serving as a Chemical 

Biological Radiological Nuclear and High yield 

Explosive (CBRNE) Coordinator for the U.S Navy 

in Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia as a 

hazardous materials technician. 

He served as a first responder and fire inspector 

for First Coast Navy Fire & Emergency Services 

in Jacksonville, Florida. 

His vast hands on experience and professional 

training techniques makes him ideal as a consultant and instructor for UCS.

Indhi Pinto



Indhi Pinto is a professional traffic engineer with over 12 years working in management positions for HNTB, a national traffic engineering and consulting firm.

Among her many talents, Indhi has been Designing, implementing and inspecting traffic control for work zones for the past 12 years.

Indhi was the lead engineer for HNTB and provided training to all District 5 Traffic Operators with on an ongoing basis. 

Currently, Indhi is employed as the Traffic Management Operator at Reedy Creek Improvement District in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. In addition 

to her many duties she verifies and corrects MOT for Work Zones by construction companies in the Walt Disney World area.

Peter Osborne



With over 15 years’ experience in roadway design and engineering, Peter has been employed by some of the most prestigious traffic engineering firms in the world.

His current position with Atkins Global as a Transportation Project Manager affords him the opportunity to be involved with project management, MOT plans review and roadway design supervision on a daily basis.

Prior experience includes Roadway Design Management, Transportation Engineering and Project Management for AECOM (formerly URS) Parsons Brinkerhoff and HDR.

Peter received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Civil Engineering at the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, FL. 

Mr. Osborne's educational background coupled with his working experience equips him with the necessary tools to convey his knowledge and real life working experience with the students he instructs. Peter’s goal is to make sure the attendees not only learn, but retain the information.

Peter is a true professional with a high standards and excellent work ethics. We are proud to have him on our team!

David Combs


David has over 30 years of experience in fire protection, safety and insurance risk control. He has worked closely with hundreds of organizations of varying size such to provide high quality safety support, consulting and training to help improve their overall safety culture. 

David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Science and a Master of Science degree in Occupational Safety and Health Risk Management. He has also earned the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, the Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) designation from the National Fire Protection Association.

David is certified as an OSHA Outreach Trainer in both General Industry and Construction, CPR/First Aid, and HazWoper just to mention a few.

We are very pleased to add David to our team of excellent quality safety professionals!

Michele Mathews


  Michele Mathews comes to us with over 20 years-experience in the industry, Michele has worked in a Director role in Human Resources, Risk Mitigation and Safety Compliance with high risk companies in Florida and beyond. She has supported organizations in General Business, Healthcare, Manufacturing and Construction assisting in implementing policies, developing and conducting site visit protocols, working with senior management to review data and develop stronger systems, conducts annual safety and compliance reviews, insure all their written policies and Safety Data Sheets follow OSHA & GHS regulations, conducting new hire and annual employee safety training. 

Michele Currently enrolled in an M.B.A. program with concentration in Human Resources Management; Michele holds a BA in Human Resources Management, as well as, an AA in Psychology. In addition, Michele is ALF Core Certified, has a Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification. 

We are very pleased that Michele has agreed to join our team of highly knowledgeable safety professionals!  

David Fender



David Fender has worked in various aspects of safety and health for over 40 years. He served 20 years in the US Army with several safety-related assignments and his last duty was at the US Army Safety Center where he dealt with safety issues regarding aviation, playgrounds, day care centers, transportation, industrial safety and system safety.

After retirement from the US Army, he worked for and consulted in the safety industry spending 21 years as a Professor in the Department of Occupational Safety and Health at Murray State University.  

Mr. Fender received a bachelor’s degree from Central Missouri University, master’s degree from the University of Southern California and Doctor of Education from Vanderbilt University. He has published several articles in safety & health journals and has written chapters in text and reference books. 

He currently consults in regards to OSHA-related issues including teaching safety and OSHA-related training courses for a variety of industries and groups.

Chuck Green



Chuck Green is recently retired 

from the The Orange County Fire Rescue after 20 years of 

dedicated service.

He is highly accomplished in life saving and rescue techniques. 

Chuck has been teaching CPR/AED/First Aid and Forklift Operator Safety training classes to the general public for over 15 years!

Chucks teaching style is interactive, educational and entertaining. 

The feedback from the students in his classes is always very positive. 

Chuck is one of our most requested instructors.

Prof Mark Dozier


UCSES is very fortunate to have a Professor such as Mr. Mark Dozier.

 Mark has a long history in the teaching world working in the higher education industry. Mark graduated from Nova Southeastern University with an MBA and currently conducts classes for the Miami Dade College.
Additionally, he is a Certified OSHA Instructor for the University of South Florida and a Project Management Practitioner for the University of Miami
as well as a Storm Water Erosion And Sedimentation Control Inspector for the EPA-State of Florida 

William Teets



William Teets has over 20 years’ experience as a Safety Professional in a variety of hazardous environments to include Mine Safety, Onsite Safety Inspections, OSHA/Safety Inspections, Safety Audits, Safety Manual and Safety Plan writing. Additionally, he provides OSHA and MSHA training to organizations throughout the U.S. 

William has been called upon as a subject matter specialist in Confined Spaces, Trenching and Shoring and MSHA Mine Safety among others.

William is currently employed by i+iCONSoutheast as their Regional Safety Manager covering the Southeast U.S.

Jose Rivera


Jose Rivera brings us a wealth of safety experience and knowledge. In his 28-year tenure, Jose has worked in a management position for several high-profile organizations. Some of his responsibilities included Implementing safety programs including Standard Operating Procedures, Personal Protective Equipment, Pre and Post Trip Inspections. Additionally, 

Jose is an OSHA Certified Construction Instructor and a Competent Person Instructor for Excavation, Trenching, Confined Space, Lifting, Rigging, Signaling and Fall Protection to name a few. 

Jose is bilingual in and provides training in both English and Spanish which makes him an invaluable member of our team!

Keith Bourgault

Keith Bourgault has been a fire fighter for the city of Okeechobee, Florida for almost 20 years. He is highly accomplished in life saving and rescue techniques.  

Keith practices life saving techniques every day on the job and teaches CPR/AED/First Aid training classes to the  general public.

The feedback from the students in his classes is always very positive.

Domingo Quintana



Domingo Quintana is a seasoned safety professional with a history of working in various environments such as transportation and infrastructure construction and both commercial and residential construction.

Domingo is known throughout the safety industry to develop new methods to have safer working environment. His motto is “When we put learning, people, relationships, respect and living first, then we get to the heart of safety.”

Domingo is bilingual and is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Edward Berner

Edward Berner comes to us with a long history of experience as a Hazardous Materials Technician and


Edward Berner comes to us with a long history of experience as a Hazardous Materials Technician and Instructor beginning with the Miami-Dade and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Departments 

Subsequently, working as the HazMat Manager for Department of Homeland Security and FEMA, his main role was to provide Logistics, Hazardous Materials support and training to team members on their respective HazMat teams.

Edward has won numerous awards including the Bronze Medal of Valor from the Miami-Dade Police Department for his service during the ValuJet plane crash investigation and recovery mission in 1996. Additional humanitarian search and rescue missions include but are not limited to Hurricane Andrew, Hurricane Katrina, Oklahoma City Bombing and the September 11 Twin Towers terrorist attack.

Edwards extensive working experience and professional training with varied hazmat technologies such as RAE Systems, MSA, Thermo, and Smith Detection etc. qualifies him as an excellent choice to provide our customers with HazWoper training.
